What i learned from research

  • LD” is a name that is given not to a specific disorder but rather to a group of disorders. 
  • it affects ability to do reading and writing and math and spelling and other kinds of skills that are needed to succeed in school
  • LD and ADHD are two different disorders that
  •  more than 2.6 million kids are effected by LD
  • LD is more than a difference or difficulty with learning — it is a neurological disorder that affects the brain's ability to receive, process, store, and respond to information.
